COOL STUFF TO DO

Beaches:

Hilton Beach: the unofficial gay beach in Tel Aviv. Really fun for sunset swimming and surfing

Gordon Beach: has beach volleyball. Enough said. Plus it is central and close to all the hotels

Alma Beach: Near Jaffa, where the cool kids hang out to smoke and drink

Neve Tzedik:

Cool neighbourhood, very Eurpoean in style with lots of nice cafes and shops

Sheninken St: classic Tel Aviv street. Great place to watch the world go by and guranteed chit chat with the locals.

Park Ha Yarkon: Tel Aviv’s answer to central park. Has a small zoo , pedal boats and playgrounds. Great for kids.

Old Jaffa: amazing flea markets and walking through the old city to the port. Place for the best falafel & hummus in town

Port Market: Has a farmers market 7am-3pm on a Friday and an Artist and Collectors Fair Saturdays 10am-6pm

Carmel Market: The cities main market. Food, clothes and general market atmosphere

TEL AVIV

OUTSIDE OF TEL AVIV

If you’re planning to do some trips around the wedding here are some of the must do things to see:

Jerusalem: A not to miss experience. Check out the Wailing wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Mount of  Olives, Dome of the Rock, Via Dolorosa and Israel Museum. As well as walking round each of the religious quaters. Avoid going on a Saturday, as it’s all shut beacuse of Shabbat. Not even the ATMs work, as you're not allowed to deal with money on shabbat. It’s about 40 mins from Tel Aviv

The Dead sea: The lowest point on earth. A place to go for relaxing spas and hiking. Cover yourself in stinky mud for health benefits! A very cool experience. Roughly 2 hours from Tel Aviv

Masada: Near the dead sea. A sunrise climb to the top is majestic and well worth the early start.

Petra: You can cross into Jordon from Jersualem. But you’ll need to organise a visa from the embassy in Tel Aviv before you go. If you can spare the time, this is really one of the coolest wonders in the world. FACT.

If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of organising your own trip, here is a tour company that will pick you up from Tel Aviv hotels:
